The Amiga Public,
The pictures enclosed in this file are samples from a soon to be released
3-D modeling, rendering and animation package entitled "3-D Professional".
Marketing will be handled by Progressive Peripherals & Software and will be
available this fall.
These pictures consist of various objects created by Allen Hastings. All
but one of these shots are of 3DPro's "camera" mode. This mode is not a
final rendering, rather it is indicative of the editing enivronment. The
last picture "pic9" is a 320x400 32 color rendering of the red lotus. Below
are explanations of each file.
As you may notice, 3DPro allows for full shading while in its edit modes.
Wire frame rendering can also be used to improve productivity. More
demonstrations of 3DPro's capabilities will follow...such as it's object
creation, editing and rendering facilities.
"pic1" - The Arati building without parking lot.
"pic2" - The Arati building with parking lot.
"pic3" - The Apache AH-64 viewed head on.
"pic4" - The Apache AH-64 viewed slightly from the left.
"pic5" - The Apache AH-64 viewed from the upper-left.
"pic6" - Office chair.
"pic7" - Haunted House.
"pic8" - Red lotus.
"pic9" - Red lotus (320x400x32 colors)
One final note: 3DPro fully supports VideoScape "surface detail" which
should be evident in the renderings. Very few other Amiga 3-D products,
other than VideoScape 3-D, support this useful feature.
Please enjoy,
